MOU's

Memorandums of Understanding

The rapid growth of the pharmaceutical industry in India has resulted in an increased demand for skilled pharmaceutical graduates. In order to keep up with the fast-changing scenario, academia should be responsive in building fundamental concepts and emphasizing practical exposure to the latest techniques used in the industry.

Both industry and academia have different mindsets and goals. The pharma curriculum is mainly oriented towards the conventional needs of the industry, which in turn creates a gap between industry and academia. Pharma graduates may possess minimal skills to meet all industrial requirements. Students should gain more practical experience apart from theoretical knowledge.

RKP College of Pharmacy brings changes in the educational system to ensure that industry expectations are met without compromising academic goals. Pharma education is enhanced with realistic training and skills to bridge the gap between industry and academia. As the world becomes more professionally competent, it is paramount to enhance the professional standards of graduates to keep their careers progressing. This is possible through industry-academia collaboration.

Academia-industry interaction is a part of the education at RKP College of Pharmacy, which has MOUs with various industries to align course content with their needs. The curriculum is enriched with case studies, training programs, coursework, simulation labs, and summer internship programs.
